Infrared scattering from sea surfaces

<< Research topics << Home page

This research topic is devoted to the modelling of the infrared emissivity and of reflectivity of randomly rough sea surfaces. The purpose being to model the infrared radiation of the sea surface. The models are based on the geometric optics approximation, in which the shadowing effect is taken into account. This research also includes the reflection from oil slicks.
